At Great Temptations, we believe that it’s the little things that deserve to be celebrated! Like most cake enthusiasts, we started out licking the cake batter from the bowl after an afternoon baking with our loved ones. Our owner, Carl, has many memories of spending lazy days baking with his mum, June. These traditional recipes are what have influenced Great Temptations sweet treats to this day!

It’s been 30 years since Carl’s mum, June, opened up a little cake shop in Perth, Western Australia! As demand for June’s traditional recipe cakes grew, Carl popped on his apron and became chief cake taster once again. Over the years, Carl has added his own sprinkling of magic to the Great Temptations treats, creating an incredible range of delicious delights — which now includes our very own range of gluten-free muffins!

Family is at the centre of what we do at Great Temptations. After listening to our community’s voices, we soon realised that not all family members were able to enjoy our sweet treats due to gluten intolerance and coeliac disease. Our goal was to create a range of gluten-free products that everyone could enjoy! We want our delicious Orange and Poppy Seed and Double Choc Chip Gluten-Free muffins to be a staple item in one’s pantry – because you never know who may pop around and require a gluten-free snack! 

All Great Temptations products are created in our local Perth factory; this allows us the freedom to set dedicated production days for our gluten-free products. We follow strict cleaning procedures, ensuring everything is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before and after production. In addition to this, all our gluten-free materials are stored completely separately from general stock.

We conduct Micro-Testing by the NATA certified lab on every batch of gluten-free products, with no stock released until results are received. Your health is of the utmost importance to us.

We are so excited to serve every gluten free person in Australia a tasty gluten free muffin. With chunks of chocolate in our Double Choc Chip Muffin and pieces of real orange inside our Orange and Poppy Seed Muffin, you can’t go wrong!
