{ INGREDIENTS }

4 Helga’s Gluten Free Gourmet Rolls 5 Seed

4 leaves butterhead lettuce

 

BEEF PATTIES:

480gm black Angus beef mince

150ml gluten free BBQ sauce

10g table salt

50ml warm water

 

HONEY MUSTARD DRESSING:

100g American mustard

100g honey

100g mayonnaise

1 clove garlic, pasted into purée

{ METHOD }

BEEF PATTIES

Dissolve water and salt together

Form into four 120g patties

Place on a wire rack and place in fridge uncovered overnight. Before cooking remove from fridge until the patties reach room temperature

Brush patties very lightly with oil and place a hot grill. Cook each side for 1 minute then brush each side of the patty with the salt solution. Continue to cook patties for a further 2 minutes on each side, before resting in a warm place for 3 minutes before serving

Put approximately 30ml of BBQ sauce on each cooked patty

 

HONEY MUSTARD DRESSING

Mix well and place in squeeze bottle before using.

 

TO SERVE

Toast roll and brush with melted butter

Place a piece of butterhead lettuce on bottom bun followed by beef patty and BBQ sauce

Place 15g crumbled firm blue cheese on top of BBQ sauce then drizzle with honey mustard dressing

Place lid on top and serve
