Blackadder Blackberry Neuroberry Smoothie

{ A BRAIN-BOOSTING BREAKFAST OR SNACK, STRAIGHT FROM NEW ZEALAND FARMS }

{ INGREDIENTS }

1/3 cup Barker’s Unsweetened Blackadder Blackcurrant Juice

1/2 cup Greek-style natural yoghurt

1/3 cup coconut water

1/3 cup almond milk

1 1/2 tsp Flaxseed Oil

1 cup ice cubes

GARNISH

Handful of shaved dark chocolate, cacao nibs/chopped almonds

{ METHOD }

Place all liquid ingredients and ice cubes in a blender and blitz until smooth.

Note:

Greek-style, unsweetened yoghurt is the best for this recipe as it adds not only another flavour dimension but is low in sugar and high in good probiotics.

Silvered almonds or shredded coconut can be used as an alternative topping.
